Returning Hearts
April 22nd, 2010Please be in prayer for our Bethel Team of nine- heading to Angola State Prision. Returning Hearts Celebration is an annual event on the prison grounds that unite children and their inmate fathers for an unforgettable day of games, food, relationship building and Bible teaching. For one day each year, fathers can be real dads to their kids. Most importantly, they have the opportunity to reconcile with their children by asking for forgiveness and allowing the Savior to begin the healing and offer the freedom from sin and the cycle of crime.
Our team will help facilitate this event- they will be used in the lives of these families and these families will be used in the lives of our team. What a great ministry to serve and see the power of reconciliation. Please lift them up to the Lord- to meet their needs physically and also spiritually.
