Journey to Bethel
Life can be busy, challenging, and a bit, well, messy. But along the way, a supportive, loving community can make all the difference. No one wants to journey through life feeling lost and alone. Through Christ and his body of believers, we can find solace, strength, and direction to live life fully in the freedom of Christ. Bethel Baptist Church is that kind of community - the kind of community that becomes family.
Is Bethel the place for you? We know it takes time and energy to figure out whether a church will become your church family. Here’s how you can get to know us better:
Get to know us by spending some time on our site to see what kinds of ministries we offer. Check out our family pictures. Browse our blog. Listen to Pastor John’s sermons and get a feel for what we learn together.
We offer many opportunities to connect:
Sunday School: 9:30 a.m.
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:45 a.m.
Sundays: Life Groups and Small Group Bible Studies (times vary)
Wednesday: Children, Youth, and Adult Studies: 7 - 8 p.m.
Grab some coffee, enjoy some teaching and contemporary worship music, and say hello. We won’t embarrass you or make you stand up and give a speech. Come as you are and experience Bethel!
Like what you see on Sundays? Then consider attending an upcoming Discovering Church Membership Class, where you will learn more about who we are, what we believe, and how we’re different from other churches and yet still serve within the larger body of Christ, the Big “C” Church that proclaims Jesus’ salvation all over the world.
After you’ve gotten to know us, visited on Sundays, and attended the Discovering Church Membership Class, we’ll invite you to partner with Bethel. If Bethel is right for you and your family, and you are ready to continue to grow and connect with others, you may decide to become a member.
Maybe after visiting our church and attending the Discovering Church class you’ll decide we aren’t the right community of faith for you. That’s okay! We’re here for you, whether you choose to make Bethel your home church or whether you find another place. What we want is for you to grow closer to Jesus and walk with other believers in your faith, serving God together, whether that’s here or another church family.
We hope you will join us in serving God together!
